MGB carburettor re jetting service, as well as tuning your MGB we can replace the needles and jets before tuning the engine. The SU carburettor is a variable jet type for fuel delivery, this means the needle moves every time you accelerate, over time the carburettor jet will need adjusting to take up for the wear on both the needle and jet. There will come a point when the adjustment of the jet is not capable of providing a correct air to fuel ratio mixture and the performance and the economy of the engine will be out of specification. We are able to diagnose worn needle and jet problems on the SU type carburettor and can rectify the problem with replacement jets and needles and tuning and balancing the carburettor for peak performance and economy.
